Trigonometry, Sophomore Year of High School

A lot of the students that I have taught and tutored over the years have been surprised when I tell them that I was on the brink of FAILING trigonometry my sophomore year of high school. I came off having a pretty easygoing Geometry teacher my freshman year, and so I really wasn’t ready for the difficulty that Trig class would bring to me.

I didn’t care too much and barely tried on the Homeworks. What really shook me out of it was seeing a class average of a 42 on my online grading system… That semester, my teacher gave me a 70 because she “could tell I came from a good home.”
